    Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI) and the visiting University Eagles (Ferndale, MI), witnessed Athens's basketball squad rout University by a count of 64-29.

    With the victory, Athens advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Red Hawks travel to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 6. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. L'Anse Creuse North lost 53-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Cousino (Warren, MI)

    In their next game, the Eagles battle the East English Village Prep (Detroit, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 5. University will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 58-47 non-league loss to Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, MI).
