The Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) basketball edged the visiting Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA), 43-41 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Upland for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 4. Franklin will play a Highlanders/Scots team coming off a 65-61 non-league loss to Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Highlanders/Scots record now stands at 3-3.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Torres (Los Angeles, CA). The Toros come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Torres was nipped by San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA), 63-53, in a non-league test.
