In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Morgan County Cougars basketball team scored a big 77-23 triumph over the Lee County Bobcats.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
With the loss, Lee County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Jackson County (McKee, KY) to confront the Generals in a non-league game on Friday, December 5. The Generals go into the game with a record of 1-0. Jackson County won 71-28 in their recent non-league game against June Buchanan (Pippa Passes, KY)
