California High School Basketball - St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy sneaks past North

The St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) basketball edged the host North Saxons (Torrance, CA), 52-45 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Millikan for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 6. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will play a Rams team coming off a 74-42 non-league win over Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Rams record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, North falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Saxons travel to Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 4. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Heritage Christian won 43-41 in their recent non-league bout against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA)
