In Wednesday's non-league test, the Mountain View Prep Stars (Spartanburg, SC) basketball team were winner over the host Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC), by a tally of 52-40.
The Stars now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. Mountain View Prep will play a Rams team coming off a 56-41 non-league loss to Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC). The Rams record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Southside falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Carolina Academy (Lake City, SC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 5. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
