Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Osbourn Eagles (Manassas, VA), 57-22 in a non-league contest.
The Phoenix (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Briar Woods smashed Heritage (Leesburg, VA), 29-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 5. Osbourn will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Lancers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 73-43 non-league loss to Yorktown (Arlington, VA).
