The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) and the visiting Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA), observed Kennedy's basketball team knock off Whitney by a score of 49-35.

The Fighting Irish (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Savanna (Anaheim, CA). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Savanna knocked off Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA), 48-34, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Costa Mesa for a non-league challenge on Monday, December 8.
