Illinois High School Basketball - Whitney Young nudges Loyola Academy

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Whitney Young Dolphins (Chicago, IL) basketball squad nipped the visiting Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL), by a margin of 50-44.

The Dolphins (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies go into the Chicago Public - Red North/West outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Payton College Prep was tipped by Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 56-42, in a non-league outing.

The Ramblers now own a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a Girls Catholic - Red outing on Thursday, January 6. Loyola Academy will clash with a Blazers squad coming off a 50-35 non-league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Blazers record now stands at 5-4.
