The Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles basketball team (Youngsville, LA), was overwhelmed 76-37 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA)
The Lions now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Thomas More for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 11. Lafayette will confront a Cougars team coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 15-4.
The Eagles (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Loreauville (Loreauville, LA). The Tigers come into the 2A District 8 battle with a 3-0 record.
