The Alcovy Tigers routed the host Lamar County Trojans basketball team by a final score of 92-67 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 31. Alcovy will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 56-26 non-league loss to Statesboro (Statesboro, GA).
The Trojans (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The Redskins come into the non-league battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Social Circle was overwhelmed by Putnam County (Eatonton, GA), 74-68, in a non-league battle.
