The Amherst Broncos basketball team (Amherst, NE), was toppled 58-50 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting York Dukes (York, NE)

The Dukes now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schuyler for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3.

The Broncos (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wood River (Wood River, NE). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Wood River beat Milford (Milford, NE), 67-61, in a non-league battle.
