Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Seagraves Eagles (Seagraves, TX) and the host Anton Bulldogs (Anton, TX), saw Seagraves's basketball squad wallop Anton by a count of 71-26.

With the victory, Seagraves upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Martins Mill lost 53-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Reagan County (Big Lake, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Whiteface Antelopes (Whiteface, TX) in a 1A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Anton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Antelopes come into the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 84-39 league win over Cotton Center (Cotton Center, TX).
