The Northland Pines Eagles basketball team (Eagle River, WI), dropped 60-40 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Arrowhead Warhawks (Hartland, WI)
The Warhawks now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waukesha West for a Classic Eight battle on Tuesday, January 3. Arrowhead will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 61-55 non-league loss to Monona Grove (Monona, WI). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-4.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mosinee (Mosinee, WI). The Indians come into the Great Northern battle with a 9-0 record. In their last battle, Mosinee beat Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI), 70-64, in a non-league battle.
