In Friday's non-league outing, the Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI) basketball squad beat the host Lamphere Rams (Madison Heights, MI), by a margin of 58-38.

The Red Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Berkley (Berkley, MI). The Bears go into the Oakland - Blue outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Berkley was topped by Dearborn (Dearborn, MI), 46-40, in a non-league outing.

The Rams now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Center Line for a Macomb Area - Bronze outing on Friday, January 6. Lamphere will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to St.Ignace (St. Ignace, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
