Baker Bulldogs (Baker City, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Stayton Eagles (Stayton, OR), 74-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Baker upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Pendleton (Pendleton, OR) to play the Buckaroos in a 4A Greater Oregon bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Buckaroos come into the bout with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Eagles play the Gladstone Gladiators (Gladstone, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Stayton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Gladiators come into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 66-43 non-league win over Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR).
