The Bel Air Highlanders basketball squad scored 67 points and restricted the host Rock Point Cougars to 48 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Bel Air upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Hanks (El Paso, TX) to play the Knights in a 5A Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 13-6.
Next up, the Cougars play the Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ) in a 1A North bout, on Thursday, January 5. Rock Point will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Redskins come into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 61-20 non-league loss to Parker (Parker, AZ).
