The Lockport Porters basketball team (Lockport, IL), was nudged 49-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL)

The Blazing Trojan now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Trier for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Bloom will confront a Trevians team coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Curie (Chicago, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 11-2.

The Porters (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Stagg edged Leo (Chicago, IL), 55-51, in a non-league battle.
