The Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV), 76-56 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cadets (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV). The Maroon Knights go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Wheeling Central Catholic notched a victory over Shadyside (Shadyside, OH), 82-61, in a league test.
The Bruins now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Weir for a non-league test on Friday, January 6.
