Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), 45-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central Woodstock upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Falcons host Luray (Luray, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a Bull Run bout on Monday, January 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Bison play the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a Shenandoah bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Buffalo Gap will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Gladiators go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 49-44 non-league loss to Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA).
