The California Pintos basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Winfield Warriors to 44 in the Pintos non-league victory on Friday.
The Pintos now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Russellville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. California will battle a Indians team coming off a 83-69 league loss to St. Elizabeth (St. Elizabeth, MO). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.
The Warriors (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe City (Monroe City, MO). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Monroe City was defeated by Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO), 73-39, in a non-league contest.
