Kentucky High School Basketball - St. Benedict at Auburndale topped by Calloway County

The Calloway County Lakers basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles to 61 in the Lakers non-league victory on Friday.

The Lakers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlisle County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Calloway County will battle a Comets team coming off a 57-40 non-league loss to Trinity (Whitesville, KY). The Comets record now stands at 5-4.

The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Memphis University (Memphis, TN). The Owls come into the Division II-AA West contest with a 11-5 record.
