The Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Summit Storm (Bend, OR), 78-75 in Friday's non-league test.

The Challengers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Lancers go into the 3A Far West test with a 2-7 record.

The Storm now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Redmond for a 5A Intermountain test on Monday, January 9.
