In Friday's non-league outing, the Columbia Coyotes (Burbank, WA) basketball squad edged the visiting Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA), by a margin of 47-44.
The Coyotes (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Kittitas (Kittitas, WA). The Coyotes go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Kittitas was tipped by Omak (Omak, WA), 77-36, in a non-league outing.
The Owls now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Northwest for a 1A Emerald Sound outing on Tuesday, January 3.
