In Friday's non-league outing, the Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) basketball squad nipped the host Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN), by a margin of 53-51.

The Jaguars (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 6-6 record.

The Trailblazers now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gate City for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 4.
