Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA), 71-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pilibos upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Eagles host Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Panthers in a Liberty bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) won 92-43 in their recent non-league bout against Avalon (Avalon, CA)

Next up, the Chargers play the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) in a Channel bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Dos Pueblos will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 54-44 non-league loss to Chaminade (West Hills, CA).
