Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dunwoody Wildcats (Dunwoody, GA), 59-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Harrison upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Hoyas travel to Cartersville (Cartersville, GA) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Monday, January 2. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Cartersville won 54-47 in their recent non-league bout against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Marist War Eagles (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 6. Dunwoody will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The War Eagles go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 71-69 non-league loss to Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA).
