With the victory, Stevens Point upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Merrill (Merrill, WI) to play the Bluejays in a Wisconsin Valley bout on Friday, January 6. The Bluejays come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Merrill lost 71-52 in their recent non-league bout against Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI)

Next up, the Huskies play the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes (Eau Claire, WI) in a Big Rivers bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Eau Claire North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Old Abes come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 80-69 non-league win over Hamilton (Sussex, WI).
