The Thousand Oaks Lancers basketball team (Thousand Oaks, CA), was nudged 63-61 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Enumclaw Hornets (Enumclaw, WA)

The Hornets now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin Pierce for a 2A South Puget Sound battle on Wednesday, January 4. Enumclaw will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 75-63 league win over Fife (Fife, WA). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-3.

The Lancers (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Calabasas (Calabasas, CA). The Coyotes come into the Marmonte battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Calabasas edged Grant (Van Nuys, CA), 56-53, in a non-league battle.
