The New Hartford Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Fairport Red Raiders to 49 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oneida for a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer contest on Friday, January 6. New Hartford will battle a Indians team coming off a 63-55 non-league loss to Carthage (Carthage, NY). The Indians record now stands at 1-2.

The Red Raiders (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against McQuaid Jesuit (Rochester, NY). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record.
