Nevada High School Basketball - Foothill crushes Spanish Springs

December 30, 2022: Sparks, NV 89436

Foothill Falcons (Henderson, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV), 71-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Durango (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Trailblazers in a 5A Southern bout on Friday, January 6. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Durango won 83-79 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Ridge (Orlando, FL)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) in a 5A Northern bout, on Thursday, January 5. Spanish Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 77-48 non-league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
