Interlachen Rams (Interlachen, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Gaither Cowboys (Tampa, FL), 57-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Interlachen upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Ridgeview (Orange Park, FL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Ridgeview won 62-49 in their recent non-league bout against Baldwin (Baldwin, FL)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Boca Ciega Pirates (Gulfport, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Gaither will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 55-40 non-league loss to South Laurel (London, KY).
