The Radford Bobcats topped the host George Wythe Maroons basketball team by a final score of 56-42 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Bobcats face the Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA) in a Three Rivers game, on Tuesday, January 3. Radford will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Mountaineers enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 44-36 non-league win over Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA).
With the defeat, George Wythe moves to 8-1 on the year. The Maroons travel to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA) to face the Bears in a Mountain Empire game on Tuesday, January 3.
