California High School Basketball - Valencia thwarts Godinez Fundamental

The Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies (Santa Ana, CA), 47-37 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Cypress (Cypress, CA). The Centurions go into the Empire test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Cypress went down by Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA), 77-64, in a non-league test.
The Grizzlies now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Katella for a Golden West test on Friday, January 6. Godinez Fundamental will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 64-52 non-league loss to Workman (City of Industry, CA). The Knights record now stands at 10-6.
