Texas High School Basketball - Mansfield Legacy can't hold off Guyer

The Guyer Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Mansfield Legacy Broncos to 67 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Braswell for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Guyer will battle a Bengals team coming off a 64-47 non-league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Bengals record now stands at 13-8.

The Broncos (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Skyline (Dallas, TX). The Raiders enter the 6A Region II District 11 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Skyline was nudged by Crandall (Crandall, TX), 54-41, in a non-league contest.
