The Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA) basketball felled the visiting Hahnville Tigers (Boutte, LA), 65-50 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pelicans (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA). The Green Devils go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record.
The Tigers now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Destrehan for a 5A District 7 test on Tuesday, January 3. Hahnville will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 59-41 non-league loss to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.
