The Herreid/Selby Wolverines basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Stanley County Buffalos to 40 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host McIntosh for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Herreid/Selby will battle a Tigers team coming off a 67-20 non-league loss to Ipswich (Ipswich, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.

The Buffalos (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Highmore/Harrold was routed by Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 64-36, in a non-league contest.
