Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA) and the host Katella Knights (Anaheim, CA), saw Workman's basketball squad overcome Katella by a tally of 64-52.

With the victory, Workman improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Lobos host Nogales (La Puente, CA) to play the Nobles in a Montview challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Nobles come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Nogales lost 83-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Gahr (Cerritos, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies (Santa Ana, CA) in a Golden West challenge, on Friday, January 6. Katella will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 59-30 non-league win over Vista del Lago (Moreno Valley, CA).
