Illinois High School Basketball - Kennedy nips Walther Christian Academy

Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL), 68-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kennedy upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Crusaders host Urban Prep-Englewood (Chicago, IL) to play the Lions in a Chicago Public - White Central bout on Thursday, January 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Broncos play the Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Prep bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Walther Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
