With the victory, Lutheran East improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Richmond Heights (Richmond Heights, OH) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 8. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 9-0.

Next up, the Crusaders confront the Southeastern Jungaleers (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Public I challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. King will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Jungaleers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 57-47 non-league loss to Fordson (Dearborn, MI).
