The Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX) basketball knocked off the host King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX), 57-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pirates (17-6) will now prepare for their test against West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bears go into the 4A Region IV District 30 test with a 3-10 record.
The Mustangs now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Victoria East for a non-league test on Monday, January 2. King will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 81-61 non-league loss to Pasadena (Pasadena, TX). The Titans record now stands at 14-7.
