In Friday's non-league outing, the Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) basketball squad edged the visiting King's Way Christian Knights (Vancouver, WA), by a margin of 59-53.

The Seahawks (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against River Ridge (Lacey, WA). The Hawks go into the 3A South Sound outing with a 0-8 record.

The Knights now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Castle Rock for a 1A Trico outing on Tuesday, January 3. King's Way Christian will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 58-42 non-league win over Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA). The Rockets record now stands at 3-3.
