In Friday's non-league outing, the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN), by a count of 64-57.
The Warriors (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Ridgeland (Rossville, GA). The Panthers go into the AAA Region 6 outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Ridgeland held off Trion (Trion, GA), 56-50, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hixson for a 3A District 6 outing on Tuesday, January 10.
