The University Prep Panthers basketball team (Detroit, MI), was nudged 76-75 in Friday's non-league battle with the host L'Anse Creuse Lancers (Harrison Township, MI)

The Lancers now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lake for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. L'Anse Creuse will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 71-42 non-league loss to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-3.

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Waverly (Lansing, MI). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record.
