The Eagles now possess a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brighter Horizons Academy for a TAPPS 5A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Legacy Christian Academy will battle a team coming off a 52-46 league win over Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX). The record now stands at 5-9.

The Tigers (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Gunter (Gunter, TX). The Tigers come into the 3A Region II District 11 battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Gunter was overwhelmed by Seymour (Seymour, TX), 40-37, in a non-league battle.
