In Friday's non-league outing, the Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH) basketball squad beat the visiting Liberty Center Tigers (Liberty Center, OH), by a count of 61-51.

The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Generals come into the Northern Lakes challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Anthony Wayne was dropped by Maple Heights (Maple Heights, OH), 70-67, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Tigers play the Wayne Trace Raiders (Haviland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Liberty Center will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Woodlan (Woodburn, IN).
