West Virginia High School Basketball - Lincoln County can't hold off Ritchie County

The Lincoln County Panthers basketball team (Hamlin, WV), was nudged 37-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV)

The Rebels now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williamstown for a Little Kanawha - West battle on Wednesday, January 4. Ritchie County will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 78-34 league win over Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-0.

The Panthers (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Big Blacks come into the Freelance battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Point Pleasant edged Riverside (Belle, WV), 56-54, in a non-league battle.
