With the victory, Sayreville upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bombers host Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Spotswood won 94-52 in their recent non-league bout against Great Oaks (Newark, NJ)

Next up, the Green Wave play the Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ) in a Shore A - Central battle, on Tuesday, January 3. Long Branch will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Rockets come into the battle with a 5-0 record after their 47-32 non-league win over Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ).
