St. Thomas Episcopal Saints (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lutheran North Lions (Houston, TX), 96-79 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Thomas Episcopal upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Saints host Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Concordia Lutheran won 72-66 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Alpha Omega Academy Lions (Huntsville, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Lutheran North will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
