California High School Basketball - Mendota knocked off by Madera South

The Madera South Stallions basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Mendota Aztecs to 58 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Stallions now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunnyside for a County/Metro contest on Wednesday, January 4. Madera South will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 81-75 non-league win over Atascadero (Atascadero, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.

The Aztecs (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Tribe enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record.
