New Jersey High School Basketball - Passaic Valley thwarts McNair Academic

The Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ), 61-50 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ). The Indians go into the Big North - Independence test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Wayne Valley went down by Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ), 52-48, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clifton for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7.
